The Limited License is now available for licensed:

● Cosmetologists
● Aestheticians
● Nail Technologists
● Hair Designers

The Limited License permits a licensed individual to perform limited services on clients outside of a licensed salon.

NOTE: Makeup Artist, Threader, and Hair Braider registrations/licenses are not eligible for the Limited License.

First, do you have a Nevada Cosmetologist, Aesthetician, Nail Technologist, or Hair Designer license?

To be eligible for the Limited License, you must have an active license (in any state) from any of the professions above.

We are sorry, licenses from outside of the United States or US Territories are not eligible for the Limited License.

Do you have a Florida Full Specialist, Facial Specialist, or Nail Specialist license?

We are sorry, but the Nevada State Board of Cosmetology does not recognize the Florida Full, Facial, or Nail Specialist license.

The scope of practice for the Full, Facial, and Nail Specialist is not equivalent (too narrow) to the scope of practice (broad) granted to aestheticians and nail technologists in Nevada.

Excellent!  Which license do you have?
